Good morning!

Wanted to give encouragement today..

John 10:28/29 says this-

John 10:28-29 ESV

[28]

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

[29] My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

However... this IS conditional..

See verse 27..

John 10:27 ESV

[27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

IF we are His sheep.. then we hear His voice.. and FOLLOW Him..

The question is, who's voice are you/we following?

He says He knows US if we hear and IF we follow.. There are 2 distinct verbs listed here.

1) Hear

2) Follow

So yes, this is encouragement for those who are HEARING and taking action, through faith to FOLLOW Him -

What does 'follow' mean to you?

How do you react to that word?

For me, it means that I take time with Him to learn His ways and read His Word so that I CAN follow Him.

I personally can't FOLLOW someone I don't KNOW..

I can't KNOW someone I don't spend quality time with.

So with this ..

I encourage you to take undistracted time today (and every day forward) to read His Word and talk (pray) to Him- Jesus The Messiah, the Son of the Living God!

So that at the end of our days He can say He KNEW us because we heard His voice and followed him!

Fulfilling this scripture!!

I'm so thankful He makes it so simple for us!

He even spells it out in His Word for us..
